Camellia Milhouse is a Contemporary Expressionist and Figurative Fusion artist based in Chicago. Her work explores the emotional language of color, identity, and movement, blending expressive brushwork and symbolic narratives that bridge the real and the imagined. Each piece captures an atmosphere of feeling and transformation, inviting viewers into a space where emotion and spirit meet.

Influenced by Expressionism’s emotion and movement, Figurative–Abstract Fusion’s storytelling, and Impressionism’s light and color, Camellia creates paintings that feel both intimate and alive. Through Neo-Expressionist textures, Fauvist color energy, and Afro-Surrealist imagination, she reimagines Black identity and inner worlds with grace, power, and vulnerability.
